Lasagna Roll Ups and Jello Cookies

This recipe is from Pinterest...brown some meat...

 Add crushed tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano and olive oil...Add salt and pepper and simmer

 Stir together ricotta, egg, salt, pepper...

 Add in parsley, mozzarella, parmesan, and romano cheeses....

 Cook lasagna noodles....

 Spread cheese mixture over noodles...

 Roll them up on top of a layer of the sauce....

 Top with more sauce and cheese...

 And done! This was good but very messy...just make regular lasagna....

 Jello cookies also from Pinterest...

Cream shortening, butter, sugar, and a package of Jello...I used strawberry

 Add eggs and vanilla....

 Add flour, baking powder and salt... 

 Sprinkle with some colored sugar, press flat and bake.

 These were interesting...very fruity and tasted like Crunch Berries cereal according to Nick and my boss.

You combine pinto, black and navy beans

 Add diced tomatoes, rice, cheese and spices....

 Put in a baking dish and bake...

 Then add more cheese...

This was really good with tortilla chips.

Boyfriend Cookies and Pasta Con Broccoli

This recipe is from Pinterest...called Boyfriend cookies

Cream the butter and sugars...

 Add pudding mix, eggs and vanilla...

 Add flour and baking soda...

 Then add alllll the candy: milk chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, M&M's, and Reese's pieces....

 Then bake! Apparently I forgot to take a picture of the final product...probably too busy eating way too many of them.

 Here's my next impromptu recipe that I made with some of the broccoli from my Market Crate

Pan frying the broccoli...

 Boiling some No Yolks...

 Add 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and some water then simmer....

 Add it all together...

 Bake it with some mozzarella....

 And you have Pasta Con Broccoli! My very own invention and it was delicious.

 FYI: those boyfriend cookies must really work, cause a few days after I made them I got a boyfriend...who gave me this...

Fruit, dress in a night, and Caesar salads

I finally ordered a Market Crate from fruitmycube.com and here is most of the contents of the crate plus a fruit cube...

 My friend Jenn needed  to dress up like a cheeseburger for Easter...don't ask... So she commissioned me to create a dress for her from scratch in one night. We ran to Walmart for fabric and I was able to create this tube dress in a short time...

 It can also be converted into a long skirt for church going...

 Here's what I was able to make with some of the contents of my market crate. It came with some romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing from St. Louis Bread Co.

 I added some Parmesan and croutons and had salads for lunch all week.
