Flashdance and Easter baked goods

I recently went to an 80s themed dinner at Lake of the Ozarks, so I decided to dress like Jennifer Beals from Flashdance.
So I went to Goodwill when it was like 105 degrees outside to shop for sweaters.
I got a big grey bulky men's sweater and cut the sleeves off, then ran them through the sewing machine to taper off the sides.
After this I got some elastic and hand-stitched it around the bottom to make them stay on and be more scrunchy. I swear I took pictures of this, but they were not on my camera when I uploaded these pics...
Then I somehow found the perfect grey sweatshirt and starting chopping away...
Here is the end result after I cut off the hems of the neck and sleeves...more pictures to come of the actual whole outfit...
First dessert was Cadbury Egg Cupcakes.
First used chocolate box mix...
Then freeze 24 mini Cadbury eggs...
Put the frozen egg in the middle of the batter...this was tricky cause I didn't have as much batter as I should have for 24 cupcakes, so some of the eggs didn't get covered up all the way.
 After they were done.
And made the buttercream in the recipe...
DO NOT use the recipe given for this on Pinterest!!!
The proportions were totally off and it ended up breaking my hand mixer.
Here is a pic of the mixer completely logged down with buttercream.
Frosted them with white icing, then dyed the rest of the icing yellow and piped it in a big circle.
Add another Cadbury egg and done.
This recipe was from Pinterest and it was ok, the buttercream was way off and tasted way too much like straight butter. Also the egg inside kinda just turns hard and sinks to the bottom.
Next is a Peeps Sunflower Cake.
Just used yellow box mix...
 Made 2 round cakes...

Frosted in chocolate...I suck at frosting cakes obviously...
And line up some yellow peeps around the edges to make sunflower petals...
Then line up semisweet chips in a circular pattern to be the seeds.
This cake was also from Pinterest and was really good, but I would suggest serving the whole thing on the same day you make it. Because the longer it sits the more the Peeps try to commit suicide by jumping over the edge and pulling the cake with them.

Art, pizza puffs, and pranks

Here are some progress pictures of some coloring I did out of a book I bought on Amazon. It's called Hidden Transformations, and each picture has a lot of different elements hidden within the picture. See what you can find!
Many more to come as I get them done.
Here is a recipe that a lot of you have probably seen on Pinterest: Pizza Puffs
 Making the dough

Added cooked sausage and mini pepperonis

All done. This was okay...it didn't make very many like it was supposed to, and they're not the best for reheating.
Here is the April Fools prank I did to a coworker the night before April 1st.
Tied her desk and chair all up with yarn, turned the contrast down on all the computers....
Tied up the office door so it was a maze to get in...
It puts the lotion under the drawer handle...
Up close shot...oh and we hid all the scissors so she couldn't cut the yarn so easily...too bad I didn't come in till noon and missed it all.

Mountain Dew Cupcakes and Spring

Here are the Mountain Dew Cupcakes that I made for St. Patrick's Day. You zest and juice a couple of lemons and limes...
Mix up some yellow cake batter and add lemon and lime juice with some Mountain Dew

Ready for the oven...didn't make as many as it should have...
 All done!

Making the icing with more lemon and lime...
 Add some green food coloring...
 Piped into zig zags
These cupcakes were crazy lemon flavored. I don't personally like lemon, but if you make them I would cut down on the amount of juice in the icing. This recipe is from Pinterest.
Here are some pics of the trees blooming outside my apartment this March.
 Birds nest.
